Difference between mineral water and packaged drinking water
Mineral water is 100 percent natural water obtained from ground which has dissolved chemicals in it. It contains naturally-occurring minerals that have been absorbed by the groundwater. Usually Natural mineral water is obtained from springs or wells away from contaminants like agricultural runoff or sanitary drainage. Many people prefer drinking mineral water for the health benefits. It offers Calcium, magnesium and potassium which in small proportions are beneficial for health.
Packaged drinking water, the other name being "bottled water" has taken a place in the Indian market after the 1980s under the big names of nestle, Pepsi and coca cola. Generally people are concerned about the quality of water they are drinking and thus switch to packaged drinking water. It is safer from tap water containing a lot of contaminants. The bottled water which gives a new and trendy look may not be safe for drinking.

6. In a country like India, where people believe in "Panch Tatva" in which water is also a part, one should always try to consume naturally occurring water rather than going for the packed one.
